General description

During the period of water supply, the built-in microcomputer of water meter will automatically check and subtract the used water volume. Water meter has twice alarm function, when the purchased water volume reaches to alarm volume, water meter will close valve and stop water supply. Customer can resume water supply by swiping his IC card on water meter. When the remain water volume is used up, water meter will stop water supply completely and the customer needs to charge his IC card again.

The IC card prepaid water meter adopts a RF type IC card to store water volume and monitor water consumption. Customers purchase water volume at vending points and upload water volume by swiping his IC card on the induction area of installed water meter inside or outside home to activate valve, which will open automatically to supply water.

Available in sizes 15mm to 25 mm for residential water revenue counters, DN50 and above for industrial, commercial, irrigation water meters.

Installation

• The installation of water meter meets the installation requirements of ISO4064-2:2005
• The caliber of water meter shall correspond with caliber of pipes and the used flow rate is less than or close to the permanent flowrate. The installation place should avoid exposure, flooding, freeze and pollution, and convenient for installing, removing and reading data.
• The water meter shall be installed horizontally (display surface is upward).
• The sands and stones and other sundries in the pipelines shall be cleared.
• The arrow on the water meter should be the same as the water flow in the pipeline.
• If the water meter is installed on the inlet of the boiler, it is better to install inverted valve on the outlet of water to prevent the return current of hot water and steam will damage the water meter.
